I have always been fascinated by electrical power lines. Since my early childhhod  those iron giant have left a deep impression on me. They were conforting, they represented a symbol of modernity. I have always seen them as completely integrated in the landscape regarded

Unlike many people who dislike them  I think that power lines have become, if not essential at least a very natural element of landscaping. Most of these pictures were taken in fields around the town of Romanel in canton de Vaud, Switzerland. The proximity of a power plant make this place very interesting to photograph.
