f a c i n g t h e s u n

My early work in photography (4 years ago) consisted mainly of landscapes with setting sun masked behind trees, houses, hills or everything that I could come across. It is realy this that inspired me at first, and this also gave the name to my website.

Although I since moved a little bit away from this kind of photography to expand my field of vision I'm still very amazed by the powerof the setting and rizing sun. It's a common subject but I'v try to capture it with my own feelings. A sens of simpleness, loneliness. Avoiding anything alive on the frame and keeping elements to the bare minimum.
