Welcome to Facing the Sun a site dedicated to digital art and photography.

At last I have revamped my photography website. While I have been shooting thousands of frame since my last major update, 3-4 years ago I got so busy with my studies that I could not find the time and courage to go back and post new material on facing the sun. But hey, this summer I finally decided to kick myself in the butt and go for it.

The site has a fresh look based on my newly created other website digital-gallery. And the photography content has changed too. As I started to get tired of dull landscape, electrical power line and urban landscape I moved more and more into macro photography and nature. In fact I almost exclusively shoot close-up of follower and plants now a day, but with a digital organic approach as always.

While I shoot color on a regular basis I decided to post exclusively black and white photos on the site. There is a huge debate on black and white vs. color. Allow me to not take any side here. I just think that black and white suite photography better in it’s simple form. On the other hand I like to use color for composition and digital manipulation like I do on digital-gallery.
